OUR Philosophy

Cedar Early Learning Centre aims to incorporate each child’s unique voice in the program. This philosophy is grounded in the belief that children require a holistic approach to learning, especially through explorations with the outdoor environment and social interactions with both peers and adults.

We believe that children require uninterrupted periods of time to focus on play and making sense of the world around them. By providing a play-based program that offers flexibility in the routine children are better able to explore further. 

In order to create a nurturing environment, we strive to have compassionate and qualified Early Childhood Educators who will build on each child's existing knowledge and enhance their collective learning experiences which will enable them to develop rich, life long, connections.

We encourage our families to participate in our program in order to create long lasting connections between a child’s home and school; this connection can further help create strong bonds and a nurturing environment.
