Our 3-5 Program
Inspiration
Cedar Early Learning Centre is a program for children ages 3-5. We are inspired by the notion that children learn through exploring their senses, social relationships, and positive modelling. Our program is designed to create such environments for children to develop and expand upon these skill sets.
Morning (7:30-11:45)
Children are invited to explore their creativity in various arts and crafts, dramatic play, and outdoor play.
The Centre will provide a morning snack at 10:00 A.M.
Lunch (12:00-12:30)
Children will engage in social interactions while they enjoy their lunches.
Lunches are not provided.
Rest time (1:00-2:00)
Children are engaged in various activities throughout the day and are encouraged to have down-time. This may include having a nap or laying down with a story. The aim is to hit reset.
Afternoon (2:00-4:30)
Children will be invited to resume their day's learning through play, explorations and connecting with peers; through art, building activities, and outdoor play.
The Centre will provide an afternoon snack at 3:00 P.M.
